Water Week 2022

In support of the Lancaster Conservancy‘s Water Week 2022, we provided over 100 boaters (many of them first timers) the opportunity to see what Lancaster looks like from the the water. The experience covered basic boating and water saftey, the remarkable history of the Conestoga, the conservation challenges being tackled by our friends at Stroud Water Research Center, Lancaster Clean Water Partners, and so many others, and basic kayaking skills to enjoy a sunny day on the Best River In America.
It was a lot of work, but there are worse things than dipping my paddle in the Conestoga on a daily basis.
